Abstract From the Canadian patent

A process is disclosed for the oxidation of cyclic hydrocarbons in the presence of a catalyticallyactive metallic glass containing titanium and vanadium or zirconium and vanadium, the metallic glass being activated by oxidative treatment prior to the oxidation step or in situ during the oxidation.
