Air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle is equipped with upper and lower air mix doors and mode doors. The air volume distribution of the upper and lower blow ports is controlled continuously by regulating the degrees of opening of the mode doors by one actuator controlled by an instruction signal from a control device through a side link having cams corresponding to the number of mode doors with respect to the outdoor temperature and the quantity of solar radiation.
