The present invention relates to a driving and locking device including: (a) motor means arranged to drivingly engage a first rotor and apply torque to same and move same in a first direction; (b) said first rotor being provided with at least one rigid stop engagable with a rigid stop on a stator to arrest the motion of said rotor; (c) torque transferal means for transferring the torque applied by said motor means from said first rotor to a second rotor, thereby to move said second rotor in a second direction, said torque transferal means being operative to transfer torque back to said first rotor if motion of said second rotor is arrested; and (d) locking means actuated by movement of said …
