Abstract From the Canadian patent

A modular electrical connector includes a cell having a plurality of walls defining a receiving area therebetween and a plurality of electrical contact carrying modules receivable in the receiving area, each having a first wall adjacent a cell wall and a second wall spaced from any other cell wall, Each module is secured to the cell tridimensionally, and independently of any other module through appropriate securement means on the cell walls and each first module wall. The connector is easily and accurately assembled or disassembled.
