Abstract From the Canadian patent

A device to clean and/or to decontaminate in continuous a strip of a film of thermoplastic material comprising an, enclosure (1) inside which the strip (7) follows a sinuous trajectory between return rollers (8, 10 40, 41, 9) and, is subjected to the action of jets of demineralized water and/or of distilled water sent by nozzles (20 43, 45, 22), mounted on spraying ramps (19 42, 46, 21), the direction, of those jets preferably being opposed to the direction of forward motion of the strip (7).
