Abstract From the Canadian patent

A warp resistant tile and method for preparation thereof in which a primary facing layer is secured to a tile backing layer which comprises a laminate having, (a) a top characterizing layer of predetermined weight and bulk, and structural integrity, this layer being generally complementary to the primary facing, and to, (b) a flexible base layer.
