The present invention relates to a casting resin made from an acrylic-acid ester in which a large proportion of finely dispersed fillers is mixed. According to the invention, the casting resin also contain a polymeric organosilicon compound which is the reaction product of a salt of (meth)acrylic acid with a copolymer of monomeric elements containing functional and non-functional groups. The funtional groups in the copolymer are one or more alcoxysilyl groups and one or more (meth)acryloxysilyl groups.
