Abstract From the Canadian patent

A construction apparatus has a plurality of relatively flat components having at least three sides an, elongated rod-like member extending along each side and enlarged corner portions between the members. A plurality of connectors is provided for connecting together adjacent sides of adjacent members to form structures. Each connector has a pair of recesses shaped to releasably embrace adjacent pairs of members. The recesses of each connector open outwardly in a common direction so connectors may be positioned on pairs of members without altering previously formed portions of the structure.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted September 17, 1991. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended September 17, 2008.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
