Abstract From the Canadian patent

Fluid flow control valves are provided having a jet pump or aspirator connected to a plurality of fluid passageways. Fluid flow from one of the passageways through the jet pump creates a partial vacuum enabling fluid flow to be drawn through the other of the fluid passageways connected to the jet pump. Such valves enable hydraulic fluids of a single-acting piston-cylinder unit or the like to be readily exhausted. In a provided system of this invention hy-, draulic or pneumatic pumps may be employed for cylinder exhaustion.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted September 10, 1991. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended September 10, 2008.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
