Abstract From the Canadian patent

The present invention provides a stable pharmaceutical composition suitable for oral administration comprising a suspension of particulate cimetidine in an aqueous phase, and a suspending agent wherein substantially all of the cimetidine present is of the polymorphic B form, and optionally any other pharmaceutical excipients.
