26 -, "SCREW PUMP DRIVE", ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A drive assembly includes an electric motor operating a planetary gear set in a drive screw threadably attachable to the polished rod of a screw type well pump. The assembly is mounted in a frame by means of a spherical saddle support with thrust and roller bearings and is self-aligning with the pump rod due to the spherical saddle mounting of the motor and drive unit.
