Abstract From the Canadian patent

l-(fluoro- or perfluoro lower alkyl-substituted benzoyl)-5-methoxy-2-methyl-lH-indole-3-acetic acid carboxymethyl ester is found to have antiinflammatory and analgestic activity with less side effects on gastrointestinal traces than its homologue acemetacin, or indometacin.
