Abstract From the Canadian patent

New bicyclic compounds of the formula: (II'), wherein R1 and R2 are the same or different and each represents hydrogen hydroxyl or lower alkoxy R3 is hydrogen or lower alkyl R4 is hydrogen, lower alkyl amino-lower-alkyl or acylamino-lower-alkyl R7 is hydrogen, or benzyloxycarbonyl, and m and n are each 1 or 2 or salts thereof are, disclosed. The compounds (II) are useful for producing derivatives which exhibit inhibitory activity of angiotensin converting enzyme and bradykinin decomposing enzyme.
