Abstract From the Canadian patent

In a cartridge dispenser (10) for dispensing mayonnaiselike food sauces in measured quantities a laminated end, disk (32) which provides valving for the dispensed material. The end disk (32) includes a paperbaord (36) layer for stiffness and rigidity, a polyethylene disck (40) on the paperboard (36) for shielding it from oils a, polyester disk (46) beneath the paperboard (36) for providing the valve (52), and an inner polyethylene disk (58) allowing the composite disk (32) to be secured on the end of the cartridge dispenser (10) with a food grade adhesive (60).
