Abstract From the Canadian patent

For preparing infusion beverages in particular, of ground roasted coffee it is necessary to largely ex-, tract the ground roasted coffee within a short time. For this purpose, an infusion bag for making in particular cup portions is made such that, by up and down movements of an actuating handle attached to the infusion bag pumping movements are executed which, in interaction with a pumping chamber , produce a throughflow of two or more subchambers.
