Abstract of the Disclosure A hydrocyclone, particularly a pulp cleaner cone of the canister operated type is formed of a slightly yieldable or flexible material such as polyurethane molded as two main parts, a main cone body having a generally conical vortex space or separation chamber into which a suspension or slurry feed port and a rejects or underflow outlet port open, and a closure member or vortex finder body containing an accepts or overflow outlet for the finer fraction separated from the suspension.
