Abstract From the Canadian patent

An electrical coil body suitable for automatic delivery to a winding mechanism and for automatic winding. The coil body has a winding space limited by flanges and a flange recess facing a wedge-shaped catch nose arranged at a winding spindle of the winding mechanism. The catch nose is radially and resiliently movable against the coil body and engages the flange recess during winding such that the coil body being wound can be protected against turning.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted July 16, 1991. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended July 16, 2008.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
