Abstract From the Canadian patent

An accessory for the thermostatic valve of a radiator with a capillary tube (4) comprises a protective tube (107). The latter contains a longitudinal slot (18) for introducing the capillary tube (4). Two holders (10, 113) serve to locate one end (108) of the protective tube at the thermostatic valve and the other end (112) at a surface (6) bounding the room. This offers protection against the destruction of the capillary tube (4). Fig. 3

Why it's free to use

  • Granted June 25, 1991. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended June 25, 2008.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
