Novel milk preparations having an adjustable energy and nutritional value and exhibiting improved digestability are disclosed as are various manufacturing processes for making same. Milk or a milk emulsion in a chilled or frozen state in a ratio of 98% to 2% and preferably from 98% to 51% is mixed with from 2% to 98% and preferably 2% to 49% of a identifying ingredient, again in a chilled or frozen condition and wherein the identifying ingredient comprises meat meat, products, meat derivatives, fish and/or crustacean component milk, milk products, milk derivatives, grain products vegetable products, fruit products, and/or other nutrients and flavorings.
