Automobile Security Device for Locking A Floor-Mounted Gearshift Lever, Abstract An automobile security device includes an extendable lock bar and lock housing. A C-shaped hook is fixed on one end of the lock bar, and a base hook is supported by the lock housing. The C-hook is positioned to engage a floor mounted gear select lever or gearshift lever, and the lock housing and base hook are thereafter pulled away from the C-hook, into engagement with the floor mounted brake handle.
