Abstract From the Canadian patent

In a leaf loading method, material is picked up from the ground by operating a rotary beater and a rotary broom. Material is then delivered between the beater and the broom by rotating the beater and the broom in opposite directions. Next material is guided from between the beater and the broom toward an auger disposed rearwardly of the broom. Finally material is transferred from the auger into a thrower by rotating the auger and then material is discharged by operating the thrower.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted April 30, 1991. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended April 30, 2008.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
