The present invention is applied to a synchronous control system for use in the reading of data from a data information storage medium in which the data is written so that unit states of changes of physical or chemical changes of the storage medium may correspond to bits of digital data constituting the data information to be stored and the states of the changes are disposed at a predetermined pitch.
