Continuously conveyed flexible flat structures especially printed products, infed in an imbricated formation, are turned such as to retain their original imbricated product formation. This is accomplished by accelerating the flexible flat structures such that they are singled and then in such singled condition are deflected about a deflection axis directed transverse to the product infeed conveying direction. Thereafter the singled turned flat structures are decelerated and transported away in an opposite conveying direction.
