Abstract From the Canadian patent

A vibration-type viscosity measuring apparatus having a pair of vibrator subassemblies that can be resonated as a tuning fork. Each of said pair of vibrator subassemblies constituting a tuning fork has at the free end a sensor plate comprising a thin metal plate to be inserted into a sample, a detector is provided for detecting electrically the amplitude of said vibrator subassemblies that will be driven together with said sensor plates at the same frequency in reverse phase relation to each other, which amplitude will be changed due to the viscosity resistance of said sample encountered by said sensor plates and, a thermometer probe is provided at the intermediate point between said sensor …

Why it's free to use

  • Granted April 2, 1991. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended April 2, 2008.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
