Foams and foamable compositions containing water-soluble, non-ionic cellulose ether having C10-24 alkyl substitution are useful in personal care, such as for hair styling mousses hand, lotions, cleansers and other areas requiring stable foams. These foams and foamable compositions differ from those using established foaming agents or stabilizers by providing effective or improved foam properties including the amount and stability of the foam, both short term and long term.
