Abstract From the Canadian patent

A dump truck body capable of dumping to either the right or left side or to the rear of the truck. The truck further includes a sand, salt or gravel spreader fed by a longitudinal augar running longitudinally from the front to rear of the truck body on either the left or right-hand side. The auger is fed by the side tilting of the dump body. The overall height of the truck is maintained at a minimum while in operation through the utilization of side-tilted spreading, as opposed to rearward-tilted spreading.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted February 26, 1991. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended February 26, 2008.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
