MPC080586, Abstract, The aminoglycoside and aminoglycotide N4-(2,3,5tri-O-acetyl-.beta.-D-ribofuranosyl)pyrimido4,5-dpyrimidine-4,8-diamine and N4-(5-O-phosphono-.beta.-Dribofuranosyl)pyrimido4,5-dpyrimidine-4,8-diamine exhibit antiviral activity as well as cytotoxic activity against the L1210 and mammary 16/C tumor cell lines. An improved method for their production involves the production of a sylilated intermediate and reaction of the intermediate with tetra-O-acetyl-.beta.-D-ribofuranose in the presence of the specific catalyst trimethylsilyltrifluoromethanesulfonate.

Why it's free to use
- Granted February 26, 1991. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended February 26, 2008.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
