Tautomeric mixtures of trans-(?)-3,5-dialkyloctahydropyrazolo3,4-gquinoline, of trans-(?)-6-alkyloctahydropyrazolo4,3-fquinoline, and of trans-(?)- 1,6-dialkyloctahydropyrazolo4,3-fquinoline individual, enantiomers thereof, pharmaceutically-acceptable acid addition salts thereof, useful as hypotensive agents and intermediates useful in the preparation thereof are described herein.
