BRANCHED POLYCARBONATES CONTAINING SINGLE-RING AROMATIC COMPOUNDS", Abstract, In the present invention disclosed are highmolecular-weight, soluble, thermoplastic branched polycarbonate endowed with improved properties and, suitable to blow-moulding fabrication. Such polycarbonates are characterized by the presence, in their structure, of units deriving from the following single-ring aromatic compounds: wherein R1 indicates H, -COCl, -SO2Cl; R2 and R3, equal to or different from each other indicate -COCl or, SO2Cl. The above-said compounds are directly used in the syntheses.
