A digital rotation detecting apparatus of the invention, which is adapted to detect a phase angle .THETA.r of a resolver by using a multiple frequency clock of the excitation frequency for the resolver and a clock of a voltage control oscillator, is detectable of an instantaneous value of the phase angle .THETA.r at a desired time without delay, is also detectable directly of the rotational speed, and requires no low frequency excitation because the excitation frequency for the resolver needs only to be constant.

Why it's free to use
- Granted June 5, 1990. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended June 5, 2007.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
