Abstract From the Canadian patent

Disclosed is a heat exchanger having a plurality of flat fins disposed in parallel at predetermined intervals and adapted such that the air flows therebetween and a plurality of heat-transfer tubes disposed to intersect at right angles with the plurality of fins and adapted such that a fluid flows therethrough. The heat-transfer tubes are arranged such that a line connecting the adjacent heat-transfer tubes in the longitudinal direction of the fin is perpendicular to the direction of the air flow.
