Abstract of the Disclosure A machine tool bolster includes a horizontal fixture support plate and a pressure-operable clamp device is vertically shiftably mounted to the underside of the plate and includes a clamp insert holder extending axially into a circular hole provided in the plate. A fixture is mounted to a locating plate provided with a receptacle adapted to receive the clamp insert holder when the clamp device is raised relative to the plate. A rod is connected to a piston of the clamp device and extends vertically through the holder.
