Abstract of the Disclosure A fluid filled vibration isolator of the type having upper and lower chambers separated by a partition having an inertia track passageway and a decoupler assembly permitting fluid to bypass the inertia track passageway at certain amplitudes. The decoupler assembly includes a mass of particulate matter loosely contained within a screened cavity in the partition. The particulate matter has a predetermined density and interstitial volume and occupies less than the entire cavity when at rest therein. At low amplitudes of vibration, the particulate matter oscillates in a dispersed condition as the fluid oscillates through the screened cavity essentially bypassing the …

Why it's free to use
- Granted February 13, 1990. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended February 13, 2007.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
