Abstract From the Canadian patent

A frequency hopping communication system whose transmitters and receivers after synchronisation hop over a frequency series of a first type. To synchronise the transmitters and receivers, sync data from a transmitter are transmitted and received in portions spread over a frequency series of a second type in order to protect the transmission of sync data against jamming and eavesdropping.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted January 30, 1990. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended January 30, 2007.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
