The present invention relates to cyclic phenolorganosilane-esters and to the o-allylphenylsilane-monoesters occuring during the production thereof. The benzene nucleus of these new compounds is preferably substituted with chlorine or methyl radicals; these compounds are suitable for bioresistant preserving and sterilizing of natural and artificial materials. Some of the compounds claimed are also suitable for adhesives and for smoothing glass fibres. These new compounds are produced mainly by known processes. However in producing o-allylphenylsilane-monoesters it is necessary, in many cases to operate in the presence of an excess of hydrogenchlorosilanes. The cyclizing of this preliminary …
