Abstract From the Canadian patent

Chloroacetanilide compounds having general formula wherein A represents an optionally substituted azine selected from pyridyl, pyrazinyl, pyridazinyl, 4-pyrimidinyl or 5-pyrimidinyl group, and each of R and R1 independently represents an alkyl group having up to four carbon atoms together with a process for preparing such compounds herbicidal, compositions containing them and their use as herbicides.
