An antilock brake device for vehicles having a sensor which senses a possibility of locking of a wheel during braking, of the wheel, by means of an over running of a flywheel which generates a release signal. A hydraulic pump having a cam shaft rotated in association with the wheel generates hydraulic pressure for antilock control. A gear unit as a transmission for transmitting rotation of the wheel at an increased speed to the flywheel comprises an input member located within and connected to a hub of the wheel, a ring gear formed on the input member a, planetary gear meshed with the ring gear and a sun gear meshed with the planetary gear.
