Abstract From the Canadian patent

11-, Abstract of the Disclosure, An anticancer agent extracted and isolated from chlorella is disclosed. This anticancer agent is a kind of glycoprotein having an average molecular weight of 4.5 x 104, of which protein moiety consists of .alpha.-helix and random coil, sugar moiety consists of .beta.-polysaccharide, and circulor dichroism spectrum has a positive peak at 275 nm.
