A portable free stall construction of unitary construction is provided herein. It includes a free standing structural steel base frame, such frame defining a polygon-shaped configuration and having longitudinally extending base members and transversely extending frame members, all base members being affixed together to enable the base frame to be moved as a unit. A plurality of longitudinally-spaced uprights is secured to one of the longitudinally-extending base members thereby to, subdivide the portable free stall into a plurality of individual stalls.
