PHN 11.519 14 16.6.1986, ABSTRACT:, Signal processing arrangement. In more specifically, image-processing, systems in which images must be stored in a memory 4 of a signal processing arrangement 1 for differential encoding, the memory capacity required is very large. It is possible to save memory capacity by using a squarewave signal generator 12 generating a bit sequence which provides the predictable information which was previously stored in the least significant bit position in the memory 4.
