Abstract From the Canadian patent

20104-8030, ABSTRACT, "Charge-coupled device." The invention relates to a charge-coupled device more, particularly a sensor of the so-called accordion principle in, which the charge packets are stored with a very high density and in order to prevent signal mixing, are transported with a lower density. The logic circuits required for driving the sensor are integrated in the chip itself. Therefore means are provided for, detecting the condition of the CCD and for generating an, adjustment signal which depends on that condition and which is used as a control signal for causing the CCD to pass on a next condition.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted June 20, 1989. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended June 20, 2006.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
