The invention relates to an apparatus for charging at least one crusher, adapted to be charged from above with, material delivered intermittently by a plurality of transporting vehicles, the said material being fed to the crusher by a bucket, the said bucket being charged by at least one transporting vehicle, in a receiving position adapted to the plane of movement of the said transporting vehicle and being adapted to be raised into a transferring position in which it is tilted in order to empty it into the crusher the, crushed material being removed therefrom by means of a transporting device.
