A b s t r a c t, Title: Method and Apparatus for optical measurement of fluid flow, Particles injected into the fluid flow permits accurate, velocity measurements thereof between two parallel (focussed laser) beams in measuring windows (multi-windowing) and to get a velocity profile. A laser velocimeter was known per se. Advantage: Better R & D of compressor vanes. Invention: The invention relates to an improvement in data gathering and processing (multi-windowing with a common standard)
