Abstract From the Canadian patent

A barbecue tool to pick up or turn food articles on a barbecue or open fire has a long shaft with a fixed lower blade, and a movable upper jaw, at one end and a, handle at the other end connected to the upper jaw which, handle has a stop for the hand, and can be squeezed against -the shaft, causing the upper jaw to close.
