Abstract From the Canadian patent

Abstract A voltage comparator includes two sampled input networks connected in parallel between an input reference voltage and the inverting input of an integrator the other, input of which is grounded. The first input network has a first input capacitor which is through-switched at a first sampling frequency. The second input network has a second input capacitor which is diagonally-switched at a second sampling frequency, thus providing an output voltage to the integrator which is of opposite polarity to that of the first network. For a given ratio between the capacitors the output of the integrator is determined by the relationship between the sampling frequencies thus, providing a …

Why it's free to use

  • Granted July 5, 1988. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended July 5, 2005.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
