A method of automatically controlling signal receiving in a mobile radiophone apparatus for data communication having an automatic receiving function comprises the steps of: (1) setting the mobile radiophone apparatus to an automatic receiving mode by making use of automatic receiving mode set information inputted through an operating part of a control unit (CU); (2) delivering after detecting receiving to itself with the aid of a transmitter/ receiver unit, a receiving indication signal including an indication for the automatic receiving mode to a data modem circuit; (3) establishing a link between the modem circuit and the data terminal, and thereafter disconnecting the connection through …
