Abstract From the Canadian patent

This specification discloses an electrically heated windshield construction (300) in which the windshield is of generally trapezoidal shape has both an, upper, generally horizontally extending bus bar (302) and a lower, generally horizontally extending bus bar (304) and a trapezoidal shaped electrically conductive coating (314) on the windshield which electrically interconnects the upper bus and the lower bus bar. The invention is directed to an improved bus bar configuration in which the bus bars are so constructed and arranged that the lower, generally horizontal bus bar (304) is longer in bus bar line of contact with the trapezoidal shaped electrically conductive coating (314) on the …
