Abstract From the Canadian patent

A fastening apparatus having two or more stapling devices and drives for moving either of the devices selectively to permit selective positioning of staples before a stapling operation. An indication system cooperates with the drives for operator use in selecting the positioning of staples for different sizes of sheets to be fastened.
