Stoving lacquers containing graphite, Abstract Stoving lacquer compositions, which after stoving give a coating with a metallic effect obtained without the use of metal particles and having a fine uniform, gleaming lustre, which compositions contain a) an acrylic resin, an alkyd resin, an epoxy resin a, phenolic resin, a melamine resin, an urea resin a, polyester resin, a benzoguanamine resin or a cellulose, ester resin, or combinations thereof b) 0.001 to 30 % by weight, relative to the lacquer coating, of one or more organic pigments or polymersoluble dyes, and, c) 0.001 to 30 % by weight of graphite relative to the, dry lacquer coating, are suitable for obtaining metallic effects of high …
