Abstract From the Canadian patent

A drive circuit for a horizontal deflection circuit that is operable at a plurality of horizontal scan rates includes a pair of transistors coupled in a push-pull arrangement. The voltage supplies for the drive circuit transistors, which provide the forward and reverse drive for the horizontal output transistor, produce voltage levels that are dependent upon the selected horizontal scanning rate in order to minimize power dissipation during switching of the horizontal output transistor.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted May 17, 1988. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended May 17, 2005.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
